Hit the North Sessions: Tall Shaves jam out at Beyond Vinyl before HTN

Folk group Tall Shaves sang ‘Dance Till The Morning’ for Record Store Day, ahead of Newcastle festival Hit the North…

Alt-folk outfit Tall Shaves performed at Newcastle’s Beyond Vinyl, the best place to buy vinyl. They gave us a performance of folk-pop track ‘Dance Till The Morning’ as part of Record Store Day.

Record Store Day is an annual event, established back in 2008, held to celebrate independently owned record stores. It further recognises the importance of its culture within the music scene today. The number one place to go for vinyl records, Beyond Vinyl, offers Newcastle music fans the best in vinyl music. Tall Shaves came along and gave us an exclusive performance.

The Newcastle based folk outfit is a banjo-strumming, foot tapping, harmony hitting folk group. It’s made up of eclectic folk duo Kieran Taylor and Paige Temperley, alongside their live musicians. Their performance at Beyond Vinyl is delightful, and we can’t wait to hear more from them.

Watch their live performance at Beyond Vinyl, and make sure to see Tall Shaves perform again at Hit the North on Sunday 5th May. Headliners at the festival include Jake Bugg, Tom Grennan, and Shame.
