– Distributing flyers at venues, events and in the city centre, putting up posters in specified areas.

– Generally making sure that everyone knows what we’re doing in the North East!


-A  good knowledge of the city centre.

– A  confident and outgoing personality. Being willing to talk to other businesses and members of the public to help build working relationships with them.


– Free guestlist for gigs and club nights as well as being involved in some of the biggest music events in the local area.

At SSD Industries we organise and promote shows across the North East using venues such as Riverside, Northumbria University, Think Tank & many more. We organise the large scale live music festival events such as:

– Hit The North Festival / 2019 Line-up ft. Jake Bugg, Tom Grennan, Shame, Blaenavon & more /

– This Is Tomorrow / 2019 Line-up ft. Foals, Noel Gallagher, Stereophonics, Lewis Capaldi & more /

– Wasteland Festival / 2019 Line-up ft. Bloc Party, Frank Turner, Richard Ashcroft & more

– Bingley Music Live /


•Create and schedule posts across SSD brands assisting with the promotion of our gigs and festivals.

•Use SSD’s in house campaign planner to assist with and populate our marketing calendar.

•Use Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to regularly engage with our audiences.

•Develop strategies for instagram and all other channels for the SSD brands.



•Approachable, communicative and proactive.

•Strong attention to detail – particularly when writing copy for social posts.

•Time management – dividing time between tasks effectively.

•Team player – We are a really supportive team and all help each other progress where we can!

•Self-motivated and able to work on your own – You will be assigned projects to carry out and complete.

•Preferably you will be a regular user of blogs, instagram, twitter and up to date with new social trends.

•No experience required, just a passion for social media and an interest in gigs / live music events.
