Hit The North, the North East’s largest inner city music festival, returns with its biggest lineup yet in 2020. In November, it was announced that the festival will be headlined by Aussie Brit pop revivalists DMA’S.
The Amazons are one of the most prominent guitar bands to have emerged in the UK over the last couple of years. Heavy cuts from the Reading band’s second album ‘Future Dust’ will go down a treat when they return to Newcastle.
A selection of exciting indie bands who are quickly rising up the ranks have been added to the billing.
Brighton punk trio Dream Wife will be bringing their riotous live show to the festival, whilst anthemic Londoners BLOXX will showcase their growing catalogue of indie bangers. Additionally, The Wytches look set to melt some minds with their psychedelic garage rock.
Continuing its tradition of introducing the most exciting emerging acts from across the UK, Hit The North 2020 will also play host to newcomers including Chappaqua Wrestling, Do Nothing, Grace Carter, SPINN, The Mysterines and The Wha. This will offer a prime opportunity for these make their mark in the region.
Tickets for Hit The North are on-sale now! Stage lineups, venues and other announcements form the festival are coming soon.
