News: Ghostface Killah to take the lead on Wu-Tung Clan’s next album


25 years ago, iconic rap collective Wu-Tang Clan unleashed their debut album ‘Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).’ To mark the occasion, Wu-Tang have a new album on the way and this time around Ghostface Killah is taking the creative lead…

Though the group have released plenty of albums since 1993, this one will be extra special and not just because its year of release.

As many Wu-Tang fans are aware, RZA usually takes the creative helm so it will be interesting to see what direction Ghostface chooses to take record in.

Billboard magazine were told that RZA will “supervise,” by Inspectah Deck. Deck also told the publication “Ghost has taken it upon himself to say, ‘I want to get the beats, I want to hear some things that’s happening here,’ so we’re trusting him the same we trusted RZA in the beginning. Why not, man?”

Ghostface (aka Dennis Coles) is certainly one of the Wu-Tang’s most famous members. His knack for storytelling and fast-moving flows have helped the rapper end up on numerous lists of the best MCs.
