News: Sam Fender and Gerry Cinnamon to headline This Is Tomorrow

This Is Tomorrow returns to Exhibition Park, Newcastle on 22nd- 24th May 2020. Glaswegian powerhouse Gerry Cinnamon will headline Saturday at the festival. Meanwhile hometown hero Sam Fender is the Sunday headliner. More announcements are coming soon …

Cinnamon, whose real name is Gerard Crosbie, has a fiercely devoted Scottish fanbase. Now this enthusiasm is now spreading like wildfire across the border. Cinnamon’s knack for captivating storytelling armed with little more than his guitar is a wonder to behold.

His live shows are something of modern day folklore where the wild atmospheres are matched only by the droves of fans that come to watch.

Sam Fender leads the Sunday billing and his performance will certainly be one for the history books. With a number 1 charting debut album, a BRIT Award and multiple sold out arena shows, he is fully equipped to headline the region’s largest music festival.

Sam’s is one of the UK’s most in demand stars thanks to his timely lyrics and seamlessly produced alternative music.

Since all of Fender’s upcoming hometown shows (four O2 Academy Dates and one Newcastle Utilita Arena date) have sold out, This Is Tomorrow is the perfect chance to catch the ‘Hypersonic Missiles’ artist live if you’ve missed out on tickets.

The lineup will shape up nicely in the near future. More acts will be announced for the Saturday and Sunday and also the Friday lineup.

Tickets for the festival will be on sale from 10 am on Friday 6th December.
