It’s been a little over a year since the release of The Bottom Line acclaimed second EP ‘I Still Hate You’. It sparked acclaim across Europe, charting in the UK. Today the band are releasing their highly anticipated album ‘No Vacation’.
Created in the South of England, The Bottom Line was part of a pop-punk revival. Citing influences from Simple Plan, All Time Low, and Sum 41, the band turned the genre’s famous sound into their own style.
They aim to make fun music that nods to the old-school, reminding people that not everything is doom and gloom. They deliver tons of youthful energy and sparkle for a good amount of likability.
Especially tracks like ‘Over And Over’ and ‘Everyday’ have a sense of fun that, coming after so much of pop-punk’s self-serious wave, makes a pivot towards fun that’s fantastically refreshing. Overall, ‘No Vacation’ is a lightweight summer album that can offer a solid amount of joy.
The Bottom Line quickly found their feet within their world, touring and sharing stages with bands such as Simple Plan, The Offspring, Waterparks and Goldfinger, along with an appearance at Download Festival in 2018.
The Bottom Line are going on UK tour and hitting up Newcastle’s Riverside 2 on 10th July. Make sure you get your tickets to see them performing their newest album ‘No Vacation’ live!
