News: The Seshen share live video of ‘2000 Seasons’

The Seshen have shared a striking live video of their song ‘2000 Seasons’. The stunning performance is a taster for what’s to come when the band play Newcastle in November…

This video shows the six-piece, who hail from San Francisco, in all of their glory. Lead singer and lyricist Lalin St Juste executes the vocals in a sultry, meandering tone. It contrasts with the fresh, energetic backing track.

Much of this instrumentation is orchestrated by Akiyoshi Ehara, serving as the bassist and producer for The Seshen.

‘2000 Seasons’ may not be the most recent track by the band (it actually came out back in 2014). However you would be forgiven for thinking the song is brand new when watching the video.

There is an undeniable sense of  vivacity and exuberance here, breathing a new lease of life into it.

As well as possibly getting to hear ‘2000 Seasons,’ live in Newcastle, punters may also manage to see The Seshen play their latest track which was released earlier this year. This is the smouldering ‘This Bitter Earth.’

With the new track and the promise of the upcoming tour, let’s hope the band unveil more new material soon…

If you are all geared up to see The Seshen at Think Tank? Underground on 3rd November don’t wait around to get your tickets. Rituals of Mine and Geographer will also be performing.
