Dylan Cartlidge may now be in the process ofw riting and recording his debut album, but his creation of music started long before 2019. Cartlidge started writing raps at the age of just 13.

He cites Kid Cudi as his largest influence and idol, as well as being a huge fan of Jack White and The Black Keys.

Cartlidge recently starred in BBC documentary ‘The Mighty Redcar’ following the journey of some of the towns residents. During the filming process Dylan went from working at his local Wetherspoons to landing a record deal  with Universal publishing.

Since being signed, he has worked with Jamie T and toured with Darwin Deez. Also, making several festival appearances including Brighton’s The Great Escape.

Dylan Cartlidge has forged his signature sound; an irresistible blend of psych rock funk with hip hop smoothly layered on top.

Dylan’s first single ‘Wishing Well’ dropped at the end of last year to huge critical acclaim. We are super excited to see what he does next!
