Overall, creating a fresh sound that catapults them to one-to-watch status on the rock scene.

The band is made up of Ellis Paul (guitar, lead vocals), Charlie Sanders (bass), Jason Toward (b.vocal, guitar) and Ryan Hubbard (drums). A group of young men with many talents, guitarist Toward even produced the band’s EP. The band cite Creeper, Neck Deep and Guns n’ Roses as are some of their biggest influences.

Track ‘Machines’ stands out overall in their EP as an incredible tune, that encapsulates Holding Out’s own brand of aggressive punk rock. The band are unafraid to take musical risks, and they certainly pay off.

Last year, Holding Out supported British punk band Muncie Girls on their UK tour. Now they’re playing a headline show at Newcastle’s Think Tank? Underground venue. Therefore, it’s a prime opportunity to catch these guys play an explosive but intimate gig!
