Sam Fender and Tom Walker are BRIT Award Nominees coming to This Is Tomorrow festival 2020. Previous This Is Tomorrow performers Lewis Capaldi and Foals are also nominees…
Sam Fender is nominated for the ‘Best New Artist’ category. If Sam does go on to win the award then it would sit very nicely next to his ‘BRITs Critics Choice’ award (now known as the Rising Star Award) from last year.
Meanwhile Tom Walker has a chance to also win his second award. Funnily enough walker won ‘Best New Artist’ last year. This year however, he is nominated for ‘Best British Single’ with his heartfelt track ‘Just You and I’. The track is taken from his successful debut album ‘What A Time To Be Alive’.
Will Sam or Tom scoop up any awards at the BRITs? We sure hope so. You can find out when the awards are broadcast on 18th February from 7:30pm on ITV.
In the meantime don’t sleep on the chance to see Sam Fender and Tom Walker live in the North East this May at This Is Tomorrow Festival in Exhibition Park, Newcastle. Tickets for the event, which takes place on 22nd-24th May 2020, are on sale now.
Also on the lineup are Gerry Cinnamon, Loyle Carner, Nadine Shah, The Kooks and many more. Day and weekend tickets are available. More acts will be announced soon- and who knows, some of the performers might get nominated for BRIT Awards in 2021!
