The music festival, taking place in Exhibition Park, Newcastle on 22nd-24th May 2020 has already excited North East music fans with names like Sam Fender and Gerry Cinnamon previously announced.
Royal Blood are a Brighton duo who have been compared to The White Stripes, Black Keys and Two Gallants for their energetic blues-rock leanings. To date the band have unleashed two albums: a Mercury prize nominated self titled debut in 2014 and a critically acclaimed follow up ‘How Did We Get So Dark’.
Also appearing at the festival are Stockport band Blossoms. This indie pop group is one of the biggest bands to come out of the Manchester area in the last few years. After winning many fans over with tracks including ‘Charlamagne’ and ‘There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls)’ their upcoming album ‘Foolish Loving Spaces’ is getting a lot of hype.
Also appearing on the Friday are two of Dublin’s hottest bands who are at different stages of their careers: Fontaines D.C. and Inhaler. Both acts will be unmissable at This Is Tomorrow 2020.
A range of even more hotly tipped touring and local acts make up the fresh announcement including The Lathums, The Snuts, Picnic and Sing Again Syren.
