Track of the week

Fever Days – What’s your Problem?

Fever Days have been on a lot of people’s lips lately, from debuting at Evolution Emerging to stealing the show when Our Girl came to town. Finally those who haven’t seen them live can listen to their first single ‘What’s Your Problem’…

‘What’s Your Problem?’ is roughly three minutes of unadulterated catchy indie pop, simple as. It’s definitely one for fans of of acts like Declan McKenna, Circa Waves and Jamie T.

The tune is upbeat but the lyrics are rather angsty. Lead singer Oli Greene uses the track to encapsulate feelings of anxiety induced paranoia.

He defiantly tells his anxiety, or perhaps someone who seemingly has a problem with him, ‘try to take control of me but, I ain’t no crash test dummy.’

If you like what you’re hearing from Fever Days then come and check them out in Little Buildings on 8th November.
